General Job Description:

The Division Controller is responsible for providing guidance on all financial-related matters for the assigned group/division including to related accounting staff. The Division Controller will work closely with group/division management, with the oversight of the Chief Financial Officer, in various office locations with the analysis of financial matters, budgets, job costs, and other related requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and in collaboration with the applicable corporate department, monitor and manage all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgets, forecasting, and financial and budget reviews, accounts payable, and credit/collections.
- Provide guidance and training on all financial-related matters for the assigned group/division including to related accounting staff.
- Prepare or review monthly reconciliations of accounts.
- Acts as point of contact / liaison between group/division and corporate departments.
- Communicate and coordinate operational activities with Corporate Finance to ensure that these activities are accurately and properly accounted for.
- Provide support to management in various office locations with the analysis of financial matters, budgets, job revenue and costs, production overhead, SG&A, key performance indicators and other related requirements.
- Maintain regular communication and provide updates to the CFO and group/division operational leader for all assigned matters.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by upper management.

Position Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- A Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong computer skills – Proficient with Microsoft Office for Windows (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
- Fast paced environment. Incumbents must multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines.

- The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Hours: This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel: 0 -5% of the time to and from the primary office to regional branch offices.

Competitive Wages:
$165,000-$195,000 annually. Applicants, please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
