About this role

Under general supervision, the Email Operations Specialist supports the execution and optimization of prospecting email campaigns for member acquisition. This role is primarily focused on external email campaign coordination, audience readiness, and operational execution - ensuring that all email initiatives are accurately built, thoroughly tested, and successfully delivered. The position partners closely with internal marketing teams, external list vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently, compliantly, and on time.

What you will do:

- 1. External Email Campaign Coordination & QA

• Coordinate with external list vendors, internal Marketing teams, and eBusiness to support the build and deployment of member acquisition email campaigns
• Manage timelines, inputs, and deliverables across stakeholders to ensure on-time execution
• Conduct QA checks to validate accuracy, targeting, and readiness prior to deployment

- 2. Audience Segmentation & List Management

• Operationalize audience segmentation logic, targeting criteria, and suppression strategies
• Maintain accuracy of audience files prior to handoff for deployment
• Ensure compliance with opt-in/opt-out requirements and data privacy standards

- 3. Member Acquisition Email Program Support

• Support day-to-day execution of the member acquisition email program
• Coordinate campaign setup elements including promo matrices, creative inputs, and vendor requirements
• Track execution progress and proactively flag risks or gaps

- 4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Support

• Monitor external email campaign performance metrics and flag trends or opportunities for improvement
• Partner with analytics and marketing teams to share insights and support optimization efforts
• Oversee external list vendors to ensure performance list models are applied correctly and audience targets are selected to reach intended audiences
• Facilitate testing plans (A/B testing, segmentation variations, etc.) in partnership with stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining documentation of campaign performance and learnings
• Support continuous improvement of targeting, segmentation, and campaign operations

- 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with eBiz, paid media, and creative studio teams to ensure creative assets, HTML and campaign components are accurately implemented
• Act as a central point of coordination to ensure alignment across teams involved in email campaigns

Qualifications

What You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required or
- 6-8 years of additional relevant experience required
- 3-5 years of experience supporting email marketing campaigns, including campaign coordination, audience segmentation, and campaign execution required
