UX/UI Designer

About the role

As part of Resmed’s Provider Diagnostics User Experience team in Sydney, you’ll help shape how providers and operational teams move patients from testing to diagnosis to treatment with clarity and confidence. Your work will directly influence how information flows, how care decisions get made, and how people live healthier lives.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, and CX partners to transform diagnostic data and operational challenges into clear, accessible, and thoughtful digital experiences. As a designer in this team, you’ll grow toward full ownership of feature-level design work while applying sound UX judgment and a human-centered approach in every step.

What You’ll Do

- Translate research insights, user needs, and product requirements into user flows, prototypes, and polished UI designs
- Apply UX, interaction design, and usability principles to simplify provider and operational workflows
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine scope, clarify tradeoffs, and design for scalability
- Use and contribute to design systems and reusable patterns for consistent provider experiences
- Apply accessibility and inclusive design standards across all design outputs
- Use AI tools responsibly to support ideation, prototyping, and synthesis, maintaining strong UX fundamentals and human review

What You Bring

- 3+ years in UX, product, or interaction design, with a portfolio showing thoughtful process and growing autonomy
- Degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, HCI, UI, Graphic or Visual Design, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience designing for SaaS, enterprise, or healthcare workflows
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate design rationale clearly
- Working knowledge of accessibility, usability, and inclusive design best practices
- Practical fluency in tools such as Figma, Claude Design, ChatGPT, GitHub, Copilot, or Visual Studio Code

Nice to Have

- Experience designing for regulated industries or healthcare environments
- Exposure to user research, testing, or synthesis of feedback
- Familiarity with Agile product development practices
- Experience contributing to design systems or pattern libraries
