Manager, Product Management

Your Role

The Healthcare Quality and Affordability Operations Strategy, Planning, and Performance team translates business strategy, regulatory commitments, operational needs, and enterprise affordability and quality goals into prioritized product roadmaps, requirements, and measurable delivery outcomes. The Product Management, Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Product Management. In this role you will lead product owners supporting HQA agile delivery, including quarterly planning, intake, prioritization, backlog readiness, vendor collaboration, and outcome measurement. You will help ensure the right work is built at the right time, reduce rework, strengthen business readiness, and connect product investments to measurable improvements in affordability, quality, compliance, operational efficiency, and member and provider experience. Your Knowledge and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree required
- Degree in business, finance, economics, public health, IT preferred
- 7 years of prior relevant experience in product management, product ownership, program management, health care operations, or related business experience, including experience translating business needs into requirements, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- 2 years of people leadership required in the capacity of team lead, supervisory, or comparable experience coaching product owners, product managers, analysts, or cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of agile product delivery, intake management, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, user story development, dependency management, and release planning.
- Experience in health plan, health care quality, affordability, provider network, utilization management, regulatory, or clinical operations experience, with familiarity working across business, technology, analytics, operations, and vendor partners strongly preferred.

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
