About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Senior Scientist will work within a sub-team of OPB, primarily passionate about tissue based biomarker assay development (e.g., IHC, ISH, and FIHC) for eventual transfer to external contract research organizations as part of clinical trials or for exploratory research on preclinical and consented clinical and commercial samples. The Senior Scientist will help support programs across a wide range of therapeutic modalities and disease indications within Oncology and have opportunities to develop additional skills in image analysis and participate in technical development within OPB.

Job Description

Essential Requirements:

Master’s degree in biology, cell biology, neuroscience, or a related field.

2 years of work experience in the job offered or related position; and

Experience with the following:

- Immunohistochemical
- Immunofluorescence techniques
- Histology

Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $100,755 to $174,200 per year.

The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.

Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the

role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
