The Administrative Clerk provides an assortment of administrative and clerical duties such as distributing incoming, outgoing, and interdepartmental mail, scanning and filing of records and office reception. The Administrative Clerk will coordinate with staff members, volunteers and external vendors to ensure operations run smoothly while providing a high standard of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintain adequate supplies of current forms, office supplies and equipment
- Greets customers/patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Organizes and maintains office filing system including filing correspondence and other documents and files in a timely manner.
- Update and distribute department documentation including but not limited to policies and procedures
- Input data directly into databases and review data for accuracy
- Handles the processing of standard professional correspondence on behalf of a department
- Prepares or runs basic reports required by the department
- Processes paperwork and reviews for accuracy
- Scans and files paperwork

Qualifications

- High School Diploma/G.E.D. - required
- 1-3 years Customer Service Experience - preferred
- 1-3 years General Office Experience - preferred
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and Electronic Health Records
- Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal), demonstrating the ability to work effectively and efficiently with a diverse population.
- Ability to coordinate and work as a team member with various disciplines and departments
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
