Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Policy and Strategy Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, NY.

What you will get to do:

- Independently plan, prepare, and lead internal audits, end to end, with a focus on compliance to AS9100, NG corporate, sector, and site requirements.
- Complete audit reports to communicate noncompliance and recommendations to stakeholders, by creating detailed records including objective evidence.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of defects or non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

Partner with process owners to:

- Interpret and apply NG policy and procedure requirements
- Maintain AS9100-compliant processes, records, and metrics
- Develop and maintain site audit metrics and dashboards; analyze trends; recommend systemic improvements.
- Provide input to the annual internal audit program and manage the detailed audit schedule in coordination with the Quality and Mission Assurance managers.
- Ensure consistency of audit methods and reporting.
- Support external audit readiness (evidence organization, traceability, mock audits).
- Support internal and external certification audits (e.g., customer and third-party registrars).
- Support standardization and improvement of the internal audit program, tools, and templates.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and internal auditing, communicate written and verbally, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with process owners at all levels, strong organizational skills, and the ability to comprehend and apply technical standards, scientific principles, theories, and concepts.

Basic Qualifications for the Quality Policy and Strategy Analyst:

- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing. 0 years of experience with Masters Degree.
- Experience in Process Auditing.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Correct Action Planning.
- Experience with MS Office Applications especially Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience developing in Microsoft Sharepoint
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex graphs, tabulation of large data sets)
- Experience facilitating.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification to drive continuous improvement
- Experience reviewing and capturing contractual requirements.
- Experience with government contract requirements; FARS and DFARS.

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
