Salary range (but not limited to):
118,700 - 145,100
Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
As Communications Manager, Claims, you will help shape how our Claims organization communicates, connects and moves forward. You’ll bring a strategic lens to complex business priorities, partnering closely with executives and leaders to translate organizational objectives into clear, focused communication strategies and plans.
This role is ideal for a curious, creative and commercially minded communications professional who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You’ll influence senior stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, identify opportunities to improve how we communicate, and help build a high-performing communications team.
What you’ll do
- Lead, coach and develop team members in line with their individual development goals while building capabilities across the team.
- Translate communications strategies into focused, actionable plans and consistently deliver against those plans.
- Align Claims communication strategies with business objectives, identifying new and evolving ways communications can help achieve organizational goals.
- Build and maintain measurement and feedback loops that provide insight, demonstrate impact and continuously inform communication strategies.
- Provide strategic oversight and quality direction for the writing, editing and distribution of communications content.
- Partner with executives and senior leaders to provide sound communications counsel, strengthen leadership communications and support key business priorities.
- Build strong relationships across Claims and the broader organization to align stakeholders and influence outcomes.
- Navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and adapt communication approaches as business needs evolve.
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation and inclusive communication practices.
What you bring
- A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in communications, marketing or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a people leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic communications plans in a complex organization.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and professional judgment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with executives and senior stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing and collaboration skills.
- Excellent writing, editing and content-development expertise.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to change.
- A curious and creative mindset, with a commitment to finding better ways to communicate and engage audiences.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and building an inclusive, high-performing team.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
