Position Summary

The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for producing high-quality plastic products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role includes operating molding equipment, inspecting parts for quality, trimming and packaging finished products, and supporting a safe and efficient production process.

This is a full-time, first-shift position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional opportunities for overtime are available based on production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Operate injection molding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Remove molded parts from machines and inspect for quality standards.
- Trim, assemble, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Monitor machine operation and report any equipment issues.
- Accurately complete and maintain production, scrap, and downtime records.
- Follow all quality standards and production requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Prior injection molding experience preferred.
- Candidates with manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with good attendance and reliability.
- Basic math and measurement skills preferred.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to company-established limits.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
