Standard Job Description
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications
* HCI User Experience (UX) Design Experience
* Lead UX strategy, interaction design, and front-end implementation of complex software / web product.
* Front End Development
* Software Engineering Experience
* Javascript / Typescript / React
Desired Skills
* Experience developing React-based front-end applications with JavaScript or TypeScript.
* Experience designing responsive, accessible, production-ready React web experiences.- Familiarity with React component architecture, reusable UI components, state management, design systems, and front-end testing, integrating React interfaces with APIs, real-time data services, and complex back-end systems.
* Experience with automated front-end, component, and end-to-end testing.
* Experience with mission planning, scheduling, resource allocation, or operational planning workflows.
* Experience designing software for defense, aerospace, robotics, command-and-control, transportation, industrial, or other mission-critical domains.
* Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards.
* Level 4 Expectation Independently solve complex, ambiguous, and high-impact problems, establish scalable patterns that improve product quality and consistency.
* Represent end user needs in technical and program-level discussions.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
