Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative power electronics and electric mobility solutions while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on schedule and within budget. This role provides strategic and technical leadership for multidisciplinary engineering teams specializing in power electronics, controls, mechatronics, and power conversion systems, driving product development from concept through production.

The Engineering Manager fosters a high-performing engineering organization, secures the resources necessary for success, manages departmental budgets and investments, and collaborates across technical disciplines to advance product innovation, improve design efficiency and quality, and support the organization's long-term business and technology objectives.

- Leads teams in the development of new Power Electronic products.
- Provide the technical and managerial leadership required to assure quality work products are delivered on time per the project schedule
- Strives to improve design quality and efficiency

- Helps to create and oversee department budgets
- Secure resources needed for teams to succeed, includes staffing and proposing capital investments
- Build, develop, and sustain a high-performing team of technical experts specializing in power electronics, controls, and power conversion system design.
- Apply core expertise in electrical and mechatronics engineering, combined with a passion for electric mobility and automotive innovation, to deliver advanced product solutions for Traction Inverters, Power Modules, OBC and DCDC.
- Collaborate effectively with competence centers in electric machines, power electronics, software, and driveline to shape future product vision and drive new technology demonstrations.
- Identify and analyse key engineering indicators and benchmark technologies in electric mobility to enhance current product features and define strategic product roadmaps.
- Leverage proven leadership experience to achieve strong business outcomes
- Lead programs end-to-end, from defining product requirements to executing development through the V-cycle, ensuring alignment with program objectives

- Manage engineering budgets with a focus on efficiency, and value delivery.

Salary Range:
$130,400 - $183,375
