PROJECT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

A well-established commercial construction company is looking for a Project Manager to join its team and take ownership of projects from kickoff through completion. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction project management experience who enjoys working with customers, coordinating field teams, solving problems, and keeping projects on track.

You’ll manage multiple projects at once, serving as a key point of contact between customers, vendors, field crews, and internal teams. You’ll be involved in everything from project planning and scheduling to site visits, quality control, change management, and final closeout.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, track progress, and keep projects moving forward
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, field teams, and internal departments
- Review project scope, drawings, schedules, costs, and deliverables
- Identify and resolve project issues before they impact the schedule or budget
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Attend customer meetings and job-site meetings
- Visit project sites to monitor progress, quality, safety, and scope
- Coordinate project resources and assign tasks as needed
- Maintain regular communication with customers and project stakeholders
- Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards
- Maintain organized project documentation throughout the project
- Handle project closeout and final documentation

Types of Projects & Experience

Experience with any of the following is a strong plus:

- Commercial doors and hardware
- Aluminum storefront and entrances
- Glass and glazing
- Architectural building products
- Specialty commercial construction products
- Access control and security systems
- Related commercial construction

What We’re Looking For

- 1–3+ years of project management experience
- Construction or commercial building products experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working with customers, vendors, and field personnel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Associate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based applications
