About this role

Who We Are

Stitch is the global leader in helping brands drive CRM performance through Braze and Databricks. We work with Fortune 1000 brands to design and execute martech-driven solutions and lifecycle marketing strategies that drive meaningful outcomes. Our fast-growing team spans the US, UK, and Canada, and our home base is the Bottleworks District in downtown Indy.

We're actively building the best customer relationship marketing (CRM) consultancy in the world. Not the biggest—the best. We're looking for teammates who are energized by this challenge.

The Role

As an Associate Project Manager, you'll join our delivery team and help keep client engagements organized, on track, and moving forward. You'll support experienced Project Managers and work alongside Solution Architects, Technical Producers, and Marketing Strategists on accounts for Fortune 1000 brands.

You'll become an expert in Stitch's PMO standards and practices, and you'll help make sure client teams follow them to a tee. You'll start by supporting projects and take on more ownership as your skills and confidence grow. This is the first rung on our PM ladder, and we're serious about helping you climb it.

Please note: We are targeting Indianapolis locals for this role. We’d expect these candidates to follow a hybrid schedule, so expect to commute into our Bottleworks office a couple of days a week. That's where a lot of the best learning happens: overheard problem-solving, quick whiteboard sessions, and teammates who can answer your question in thirty seconds instead of three Slack threads.

Additionally, we are targeting a base salary of $65,000 for this role, and a November 9th start!

Who You Are

First and foremost, you're hungry to learn. You're a sponge: you soak up feedback, new tools, and new ideas, and you put them to work fast. You have a growth mindset, and "I don't know yet" doesn't scare you.

You're also the person who makes sure things actually get done. You prioritize ruthlessly, follow up without being chased, and follow through every single time.

Ideally, you've got 1–2 years of project management under your belt, in any industry. But we care more about how you work than what your last title said. Maybe you've run marketing campaigns, coordinated events, managed client accounts, or quietly been the unofficial project manager of every team you've joined. If you're organized, dependable, and energized by learning something new, we want to hear from you.

Never touched martech? Never worked at a consultancy? Totally fine. We'll teach you the platforms, the methodology, and how to work alongside some of the world's most recognized brands.

What You'll Do

- Support Lead Project Managers on client accounts. Be their right hand on day-to-day delivery, pick up tasks as they hand them off, and learn how they run an engagement from the inside.
- Build and maintain task-level project plans. Update schedules, track dependencies, and contribute estimates.
- Keep RAID logs crisp and actionable. Surface risks and issues early, with context, before they turn into fires.
- Track project budgets and flag variance proactively. Manage scope changes through established change control.
- Produce status reports people actually read, and contribute to client presentations.
- Champion Stitch's PMO standards, tools, and methodologies. Support audits and lessons learned.
- Apply Stitch's SEW methodology for implementations and our campaign management methodology for ongoing engagements.
- Work within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models, with guidance from senior Project Managers and leadership.
- Coordinate across internal and external teams, including Solution Architects, Technical Producers, Marketing Strategists, and client Project Managers, to keep deliverables on track.
- Manage your time to meet billable targets of 36+ hours per week.
- Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and onsite engagements.

What Success Looks Like

- You've formed lasting bonds. Your delivery team wants you on their projects, and clients know you by name because you show up prepared, every time.
- You've taken the lead. You're not waiting to be handed the next task. You're spotting what needs to happen and moving it forward, and you raise your hand for more ownership as your confidence grows.
- You seek solutions. When something goes sideways, you show up with the problem, the context, and at least one idea for fixing it.
- You don't settle. You're finding ways to make our project work faster and smarter, whether that's a better template, a tighter process, or an AI tool nobody's tried yet.
- Your projects run smoothly. The team knows what's due, clients know what's coming, and surprises are rare.

Requirements

What You Bring

- A growth mindset and a real hunger to learn. You're a sponge, and you're not afraid of what you don't know yet.
- Excellent communication. You can write a status update that surfaces what matters, and you can read the room in a meeting.
- Ruthless prioritization. When everything feels urgent, you know what actually is.
- Relentless follow-up and follow-through. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- The ability to bring order to chaos. Timelines, details, and keeping people aligned give you energy rather than draining it.
- Curiosity about AI. You've played with tools like Claude or Gemini and wondered how they could make work better.
- Major bonus: project management experience in any industry or sector.

Qualifications

- 1–2 years of project management experience preferred, in any industry. We're open to candidates at all experience levels who bring the right mindset.

- A passion for AI tools like Claude or Gemini is a plus.
- Based in Indianapolis (or willing to relocate before your start date) and up for commuting into our downtown office a couple of days a week.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
