The Opportunity

Join our team supporting USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), a mission‑critical enterprise platform modernizing transportation, logistics, and financial operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP integration.

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with hands‑on testing experience in Customer‑Content, Capture and Records Services (CCARS) or a comparable enterprise content, document, records, capture, or workflow management system that integrates with SAP.

In this role, you’ll perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing to ensure documents, content, metadata, workflows, records, and associated data are accurately exchanged and processed between CCARS and SAP. You’ll collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, developers, business analysts, product owners, and integration stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

- Requirements Analysis: Review user stories, interface specs, functional requirements, and business processes to identify test scenarios, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and cross‑system integration needs.
- Test Development: Design, develop, and maintain test cases and scripts for CCARS functionality, SAP integrations, document workflows, interfaces, and associated processes.
- CCARS Testing: Validate core CCARS capabilities—including content capture, document processing, indexing, metadata, routing, workflow, retrieval, permissions, and records management.
- SAP Integration Validation: Verify inbound and outbound document/data exchanges between SAP and CCARS, including interface processing, metadata/field mappings, status updates, error handling, reconciliation, and full end‑to‑end traceability.
- Workflow Testing: Test multi‑system workflows across CCARS and SAP: submission, routing, approvals, notifications, status updates, and downstream business processing.
- Role & Permission Testing: Validate access controls, user roles, security functions, and document permissions to ensure compliance with business and system requirements.
- Defect Management: Document defects with detailed reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence; track through resolution and communicate findings effectively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with developers, SAP teams, BAs, product owners, and external system stakeholders to clarify requirements, coordinate integration testing, and maximize coverage.
- Test Documentation: Maintain test cases, test data, interface validation artifacts, workflow results, and traceability matrices aligned with SAFe Agile practices.
- Agile Participation: Engage in sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and champion opportunities to improve integration testing, coverage, traceability, and overall QA processes.

Qualifications:

- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Testing Experience: Minimum 5 years of manual testing experience with large‑scale ERP, enterprise business, or integrated information systems.
- CCARS / Content & Records Management: Hands‑on testing experience with CCARS or similar enterprise content, capture, document, records, or workflow management platforms integrated with SAP.
- SAP Integration Experience: Experience validating SAP S/4HANA integrations—interfaces, data mappings, workflows, status updates, error handling, and end‑to‑end business processes.
- Agile Methodology: Strong working knowledge of SAFe, SDLC, Agile development, and Agile testing practices.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Desired:

- Certifications: ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ServiceNow CWM, Jira, SAP Cloud ALM, or similar tools for Agile test management, traceability, and defect tracking.
- Related Platforms: Experience testing enterprise content/document/records systems integrated with ERP (e.g., OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum).
- Government Experience: Prior work supporting federal agencies or DoD; familiarity with financial, logistics, acquisition, requirements, or records‑management domains.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
