The Senior Director, Supply Chain Finance is the senior finance partner for Compana Pet Brands’ global supply chain. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer with a dotted-line relationship to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this leader provides forward-looking financial insight across internal and co-manufactured production, cost accounting, inventory, logistics, international landed costs, network strategy, capital investment, and productivity.

This role serves as Supply Chain’s trusted financial partner and independent voice. The Senior Director helps leaders understand where performance is headed before month-end close, identify the actions required, quantify their value, and confirm that approved initiatives deliver measurable EBITDA and cash-flow results.

The successful candidate is commercially minded, operationally engaged, and data driven. This leader is comfortable challenging assumptions, can move from detailed cost and system issues to executive-level decisions, and builds strong partnerships while maintaining independent financial judgment.

As our Senior Director, Supply Chain Finance, you’ll make an impact by:

- Partnering with the CFO, CSCO, and Supply Chain leaders to translate operating priorities and the company’s value creation plan into measurable financial results.

- Leading financial performance management across internal plants and co-manufacturers, including conversion costs, capacity, productivity, tolling and turnkey models, open-book cost validation, supplier commitments, and make-versus-buy decisions.

- Strengthening cost accounting and SAP financial governance while creating clear profitability views by SKU, brand, customer, and channel, including cost-to-serve and complexity costs.

- Providing financial leadership for logistics and the 24-month network strategy, including 3PL relationships, facility transitions, duplicate costs, contractual commitments, inventory transfers, customer-service risk, and post-implementation savings.

- Building visibility into international landed costs, including freight, duties, tariffs, foreign exchange, transfer pricing, VAT (value added tax), inventory in transit, Incoterms, and direct-import economics.

- Leading Supply Chain budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews. Connect operating metrics to gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow, and return on invested capital while independently validating productivity savings and preventing double counting.

- Evaluating capital investments, footprint changes, and network decisions using NPV (net present value), IRR (internal rate of return), payback, capacity, productivity, cash-flow, and implementation-risk analysis.

- Leading and developing a multi-location finance team while supporting clear roles across Supply Chain Finance, Controllership, and FP&A.

- Translating Supply Chain performance into concise, decision-oriented reporting for executive leadership, the Board, the private equity sponsor, and lenders.

What you need to succeed:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

- At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within consumer products, pet products, food, CPG, or high-volume manufacturing.

- Strong experience across manufacturing finance, co-manufacturing economics, plant controlling, cost accounting, inventory, logistics, working capital, and profitability analysis.

- Demonstrated leadership across a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, or global supply chain network.

- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, business-case development, capital-allocation, and executive communication skills.

- Experience with ERP, master-data, planning, and business intelligence environments; SAP experience strongly preferred.

- A record of translating productivity initiatives into measurable EBITDA and cash-flow improvement.

- Experience in a private equity-backed company or similarly performance-driven environment preferred

- Effectively communicate in English, in both verbal and written forms
