Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

As a member of Fred Hutch’s Talent Acquisition team, the Senior Recruiter - Research conducts full-cycle recruitment for positions throughout the organization with a focus on positions in research, technology, and administration.
Responsibilities
- Conducts initial candidate screenings to qualify them within the position requirements and share information on the organization, compensation package, and position details.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing strategies for scientific, administrative, and technical positions.
- Balance requisition assignments and timelines for recruitment.
- Develop relationships with hiring teams and apply knowledge of department needs to align recruitment strategies.
- Maintain a focus on candidate experience throughout all phases of the recruiting process.
- Participate in both in-person and virtual recruiting events such as college recruiting, industry conferences, and career fairs.
- Capture and maintain complete documentation on candidates’ qualifications and status in systems and within compliance guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and processes to make recommendations for improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with candidate sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.
- Minimum 2 years of operational excellence including creation of process documentation and project management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience recruiting in the life science, biotech, research industry.
- Experience working on high-volume as well as high-touch, complex professional and leadership positions.
- Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HR Certification.
- Experience recruiting in the Biotech/Life Science industry.
- Experience with in-house recruitment.
- Postdoc recruiting experience.
The annual base salary range for this position is from $99,486 to $157,227, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
