The Role

Preferred location: hybrid in SLC; will consider remote candidates

The Technical Success team at Addepar plays a critical role in helping clients maximize platform value well beyond initial implementation. We serve as an extension of our clients’ operational teams, embedding Addepar expertise directly into their day-to-day workflows to drive efficiency, scalability, and strategic insight.

In partnership with Account Executives, Client Success Managers, Support Analysts, and Product Managers, Technical Success Engineers optimize clients’ overall experience and identify areas for R&D investment that reduce over-reliance on premium services. We focus on unlocking significant value for clients’ businesses and regularly call on deep analytical skills to advise clients on how to model and examine their financial instruments and assets.

Technical Success Engineers combine a deep understanding of finance and technology with an unrelenting sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and unrelenting appetite to work cross-functionally to solve broad issues or product gaps. They take full ownership of client outcomes, drive projects to completion with precision, and constantly push to learn more, build more, and deliver more.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B , F-1 /OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Drive proactive, transparent communication with stakeholders across internal and external teams—setting expectations clearly and following through relentlessly

- Communicate project health, risks, and milestones to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence, escalating decisively when required

- Foster strong client relationships grounded in trust, consistent delivery, and a genuine commitment to their success—driving retention and referenceability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Client Success Managers, and Support Leads to build sustainable, business-as-usual (BAU) success models for long-term client success

- Partner with Product and R&D teams to surface client insights that inform scalable tooling, reduce client dependence on premium services, and accelerate self-sufficiency

- Operate as a cross-functional warrior—bridging gaps between teams, breaking down silos, and ensuring the right people are connected to solve problems quickly
