About this role
The Registered Nurse (RN) works in our outpatient sports medicine clinic alongside our outstanding team of Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners. As an RN, you will use your clinical expertise to provide high-quality patient care, assist with patient assessments, prepare patients for their visits, and support our providers throughout the clinical process.
The RN will assist with various clinical procedures, including injection preparation and administration, suture removal, wound care, and other in-office procedures. You will also communicate patient concerns, symptoms, and changes in condition to the appropriate provider and help ensure patients receive clear and compassionate care throughout their visit.
On-the-job training is provided to help familiarize you with our practice, providers, and workflows.
The primary focus of this role is caring for our patients in the outpatient clinic setting. This is a Monday through Friday position with no late nights, holidays, or weekends .
Compensation is based upon experience.
Qualifications
Education and Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent education preferred
- Registered Nurse: State of Tennessee RN license
- Licensed Practice Nurse: State of Tennessee LPN license
- Medical Assistant: Certification or registration through an accredited national institution
- Medical assisting training preferred
- Proficiency using email and interacting with Internet applications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
