After Action and Trends Analyst
The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your experience enables you to ask hard questions and uncover hidden performance insights. We need analytical leaders to bring decision‑quality rigor to Service-Level Training assessments.

As an After-Action Review (AAR) and Training Readiness and Reporting Process (TRRP) analyst, you’ll collaborate with leading experts supporting Marine Corps readiness development. You’ll research, develop, analyze, and produce high‑priority exercise reconstruction deliverables, linking observed behaviors to Training & Readiness (T&R) standards and operational outcomes. You will collect real‑time telemetry, conduct trend analysis, identify systemic deficiencies, and generate AAR and TRRP packages shaping future service‑level modernization.

You Have:

- Experience in operational analysis, AAR production, or exercise assessment
- Experience capturing real‑time telemetry feeds, reconstructing decisions, and producing gap analyses and Significant Tactical Report (STR) products
- Experience creating playback products and comprehensive AAR or TRRP documents
- Experience coordinating deliverables, travel, and reporting workflows in high‑tempo exercise environments
- Knowledge of Project Tripoli and TECOM Campaign Plan
- Ability to evaluate performance against T&R or MCTL standards
- Ability to develop analytical presentations for senior leaders
- Ability to travel to CONUS locations up to 15% of the time for exercise support
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

- Experience with Marine Corps or Joint service‑level training events such as MWX or an equivalent
- Experience with ISR data, EW effects, OPFOR replication, or LVC integration
- Experience conducting trend analysis across multiple exercise cycles
- Knowledge of Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned (MCCLL)
- Knowledge of geospatial and M&S tools such as ArcGIS or STK
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
