F-35 Maintenance Trainer

Position Summary
The selected candidate will serve as an F-35 Avionics Instructor and Subject Matter Expert (SME), delivering academic classroom lectures and hands-on training to F-35 customers at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.

Core Responsibilities

* Conduct classroom academic lectures and provide practical laboratory demonstrations
* Monitor computer-based training (CBT) and provide academics, testing, and evaluation
* Develop and deliver remedial student training as needed
* Revise and develop student training lesson plans, associated materials, and syllabi
* Ensure classroom, laboratory, and learning center environments and equipment are operational and ready for training
* Establish and direct training systems, conducting classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores, and facilities—per established procedures
* Analyze current and future operating problems and requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs
* Write, edit, and produce materials for technical instruction
* Provide assistance and support to all divisions in determining training needs and developing/conducting maintenance training programs
* Establish and direct company-wide training programs and maintain individual qualification record systems
* Maintain currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques, including maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals
* Coordinate all required technical training and outside contract sales technical training programs

Additional Requirements

* Must have the ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for support
* Must have experience working in environments requiring interaction with multiple functional areas and diverse personnel
* Will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin Training Team to achieve F-35 Maintenance Training objectives
* Will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed
* Must comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with JSF Program and customer procedures
* Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required
* Candidate required to work a flexible schedule aligned to customer operational needs (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Must have knowledge in the operation and integration of 4th and 5th generation fighter avionics systems with 3-5 years of fighter airframe systems maintenance experience.
* Must have experience in academic and/or OJT training on 4th and 5th generation military fighter aircraft.
* Active Secret Clearance with investigation within 5 years.
* Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist
* Regularly lift up to 50 pounds
* Perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, and reach with hands and arms
* Work at heights, handle and/or feel objects

Desired Skills

Desired skills:

* F-35 mechanical systems and avionics working experience.
* F-35 Avionics instructor experience.
* Working knowledge of ALIS applications.
* Training Device operation experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $65200.00 - $121200.00
