Sunday-Thursday 6:00Am-2:30 Pm (1/2 day on Sunday)

What You Can Expect:

To Ensure the receiving of quality and accurate products. Use FIFO standards. Keep a clean and organized purchasing area (Walk-ins, receiving area etc.) Make sure a receiving date and expiration date is on all Products. Become a participating, active member of the Dietary team. Lead and assist purchasing assistant.

JOB SUMMARY:

- Maintain a clean and organized all walk-ins, including and not limited to the station walls, floor and storage areas and equipment pertinent to the purchasing area. Please check out the Food Service Manager/Supervisor prior to clocking out. (Please refer to your closing procedures, and the kitchen cleaning schedule.
- Follow and document all written and/or verbal HACCP policies including specific CCP (critical control points), time and temp logs, refrigerator temp logs and kitchen cleaning schedules.
- Follow all safety protocol, lifting properly, proper use of box knives (Cut gloves).
- Communication of utilization with leftover products.
- Assist other associates when needed. Teamwork, a strong sense of urgency and a cool demeanor is required for the position.
- Complete Cleaning schedules.
- Daily communication sheet/email.
- Weekly meeting with Chef. Have Templet filled out and ready.
- Sundays are half days: Concentrate on Inventory updates, computer organizational updates placing orders for Monday
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2 years relevant experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have one of the following licenses or certifications: Experior Food Safety Certification, National Registry of Food Safety Professionals Certification (NRFSP), Food Handlers Certification in State of Practice, Certified Foodservice Professional Program (CFPP), Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), ServSafe Food Safety Certification or National Restaurant Association Certification (NRA)
