Electrical Engineer I

Job Description What's it like to work for the Battery Technology Center (BTC)? We are a small group of engineers, engineering technologists, technicians, and additional support staff dedicated to delivering for our customer on a variety of power solutions projects.

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a great position for an inspired individual with diverse duties; you’ll never get bored doing the same task over and over. Lots of hands-on work in a laboratory environment, working in small teams and individually. The Electrical Engineer position will require the following key duties:
- Evaluation of electronic components and devices for use in small scale energy storage systems
- Design and prototyping of circuits which integrate into portable battery systems
- Fabrication of batteries and battery power systems
- Evaluation of test results and prepare written reports
- Prepare and present technical information to a technical audience
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Support Senior Engineers and Management, as needed
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 0 years’ work experience Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Proficient in the use of PCB design software (Altium preferred)
Prototype circuit fabrication experience
LabVIEW programming

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
