Mobile Engineer – JLL

What this job involves: The Mobile Engineer is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and general building operations support across a designated geographic territory. This role helps ensure commercial properties operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with JLL standards and client expectations. The position requires hands-on technical expertise across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, along with the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service to clients and occupants. This is a truck-based position that includes travel between multiple sites within the assigned area.

What your day-to-day will look like:

- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and related building systems to maintain optimal property performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving pumps, motors, air handlers, automation and controls systems, lighting systems, and associated equipment.
- Complete routine building maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, grounds, and interior repair work.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce energy consumption through system and operational enhancements.
- Utilize CMMS platforms and handheld technology to manage work orders, document repairs, and communicate updates.
- Travel between assigned properties to respond to service requests and complete scheduled maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, clients, and building occupants to ensure a high level of customer service and operational support.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair or equivalent military HVAC experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Universal CFC certification required.
- Strong hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, including pumps, motors, air handlers, controls systems, and associated electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs independently.
- Experience using CMMS systems for work order and maintenance management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications, tablets, laptops, and mobile communication devices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in commercial real estate, healthcare, industrial, or multi-site facilities environments.
- Working knowledge of building automation systems, card access systems, and door and gate systems.
- Familiarity with building envelope systems, parking lot maintenance, and interior finish repairs.
- Understanding of energy management practices and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Ability to assist across multiple skilled trades in support of facility operations.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and occupants.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills.

Work Shift: 1st Shift 8h

Salary: $30 - $36
