Senior Accountant – JLL

Location: Remote (CST/EST)

What this job involves:

As a Senior Accountant at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of financial decision-making, transforming complex data into strategic insights that drive our business forward. This pivotal role combines sophisticated financial analysis with hands-on forecasting and reporting to support executive leadership in making informed business decisions. What your day-to-day will look like:

- You'll lead the development and maintenance of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Your analytical skills will shine as you conduct detailed variance analyses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that inform leadership decisions.
- Building and refining sophisticated financial models will be central to your work, supporting strategic initiatives and investment evaluations across the organization.
- You'll prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders, presenting complex information with clarity and precision.
- Collaborating cross-functionally, you'll work closely with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive performance.
- You'll continuously identify and implement process improvements that streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and increase the efficiency of financial operations.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices within the FP&A function.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required. 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles with demonstrated impact.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, and data manipulation.
- Strong working knowledge of financial systems (ERP platforms) and solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation demonstrating commitment to professional development and advanced financial expertise.
- Experience in commercial real estate, professional services, or similar industries with complex business models.
- Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Experience leading or contributing to significant process improvement initiatives or system implementations.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience mentoring or developing junior finance professionals. Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting software beyond standard ERP systems.

Expected compensation for this position:

90,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
