Internal Communications Lead Partner
This position leads large-scale communication programs to ensure employees understand the vision, mission, strategies, and policies of Auto Club Enterprises. Responsible for leading the development of internal communication of ACE talent programs and services. The incumbent establishes various internal communication and employee engagement programs to promote talent and organizational strategies in concert with other HR COEs and business leaders. Creates internal marketing and communication strategies that drive ACE's talent strategy and HR program initiatives.
Job Duties
- Program Management - Leads the development, planning, and implementation of employee communication programs and their ongoing continuous improvement with a constant focus on increasing positive perception of ACE’s Employee Value Proposition.
- Responsible for developing innovative and creative internal communication solutions that meet business needs, increasing the value of ACE talent programs and services. Analyzes trends, developments in the marketplace, and “voice of the employee” research to shape internal communications and talent programs. Activities include but are not limited to, conducting thorough market analysis and research, developing and implementing new internal communication program features, developing programs to increase employee engagement, and interfacing with both internal and external resources as needed. Accountable for achieving business metrics associated with internal communication strategic initiatives.
- Provides guidance to the Internal Communications team with strategic thought leadership and team direction, aiding with overall goals and objectives.
- Internal Communications – Corporate: Leads the communication of complex or multi-faceted news and information to employees and multiple stakeholders (HR, program and project leaders, managers, etc.) to create communication programs and interactive experiences by using a variety of channels (intranet, video, blogs, print media, etc.). Builds comprehensive internal communications programs that help employees understand the goals, programs, processes, organizational structure, and vision of their business unit or the organization at large. This may include planning, editing, graphic development, layout, and publishing of a variety of internal communications.
- Project Management: Manages an ongoing internal communications calendar and project backlog for the department.
- Responsible for keeping projects on track and ensuring deadlines are met. Utilizes a formal process
to track and manage all communications requests and projects.
- Strategic Planning: Oversees the implementation of strategic internal employee engagement and internal communication campaigns for talent management programs aimed at improving talent acquisition, retention, well-being, and development. Stays abreast of market-leading HR communication strategies to drive ACE’s talent strategy. Provide leadership in the implementation of all strategic initiatives for HR programs. Participates in cross-functional project teams to drive HR strategic initiatives.
- Measurement of Communication Programs: Leads the development of metrics to gather insights to improve the employee communications experience. Owns employee survey programs from design, build, implementation, analysis, and communication. Turns data into information that drives decisions that positively impact the employee experience.
- External Communication Alignment: Represents HR and Employee Communications in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions with colleagues in Marketing, eBusiness, Public Affairs, etc., to ensure message alignment and consistency as well as generate new content ideas. Also ensures internal branding is in alignment with external consumer branding.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred
- 7-9 years Internal communications, corporate communications or relevant experience. Required
- Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. (High proficiency)

- Manage and prioritize video requests, coordinate video productions, direct, film, and edit video deliverables with quality and precision. (High proficiency)
- Ability to bring new ideas and suggest enhancements and/or improvements but also follow procedure and current shooting and editing styles. (High proficiency)
- Ability to concept and assist in writing scripts and storyboarding. (Medium proficiency)
- Ability to format and compress footage for social media as well as for internal use. (Medium proficiency)
- Technical abilities and experience in planning, setting up, and streaming live events. (Medium proficiency)
- Must be comfortable shooting in a studio or on-location with the ability to adapt equipment setup and provide alternative setup or workarounds if necessary, while still delivering a quality product. (Medium proficiency)
- Ability to conceive, produce, and circulate high-quality infographics, photos, videos, slides, and other shareable content following brand and style guidelines. (High proficiency)
- Proven ability to achieve high service quality results as well as meet productivity levels required. (High proficiency)
- Comprehensive knowledge of production techniques including shot composition and directing. (Medium proficiency)
- Highly proficient in the use of Webex, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook. (High proficiency)
- This position requires working in the office during regular business hours in addition to occasional travel, weekend or evening work. (Medium proficiency)
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel to off-site business meetings, conferences and events. (10% proficiency)
The starting pay range for this position is:
$99,500.00 - $132,900.00
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
