About this role
Description
Amazon MX Player is Prime Video's ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) offering in India, delivering free, high-quality entertainment to hundreds of millions of users. As a Product Designer I, you will shape user experiences across a diverse range of product surfaces and content formats — from content discovery to playback experiences, monetization via ads and subscriptions, content commerce, and emerging formats like micro-dramas.
Product Designers at Amazon don't just design interfaces — they design how products behave on behalf of users. In this role, you will translate complex user needs and evolving AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy, and scalable design solutions. You will contribute to the end-to-end design lifecycle — from discovery and problem framing, through ideation and prototyping, to engineering handoff and post-launch validation.
You will work as an embedded design partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, analytics, content, and marketing functions — engaging early in discovery, contributing a user lens to prioritization, and co-owning the definition of success. This role requires strong design craft, comfort with ambiguity, AI fluency in daily design workflows, and the ability to work across multiple platforms (mobile, web, and connected TV) in a fast-paced environment.
This is an opportunity to impact the entertainment experience for millions of users in India while working at the intersection of OTT, video entertainment, AI, and content commerce.
