Pipefitter Foremen play a critical role in delivering high-quality piping systems that support complex commercial and industrial projects. From coordinating crews and managing daily installation activities to ensuring code compliance, quality craftsmanship, and project productivity, your leadership helps keep projects on schedule and within budget.

At RK Mechanical, you'll lead field operations by planning work activities, mentoring journeymen and apprentices, coordinating materials and equipment, and collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and other trades. Your expertise in piping systems, problem-solving, safety, and workforce development will help drive successful project outcomes while maintaining RK's commitment to excellence.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the installation of industrial and commercial piping systems while overseeing daily field operations, crew productivity, and project execution.
- Coordinate schedules, short-interval work plans, material, tool, and equipment requisitions to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Ensure quality craftsmanship, code compliance, safety standards, and accurate project documentation, including maintaining updated drawings and inspections.
- Mentor journeymen and apprentices, resolve field challenges, and collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades to drive successful project outcomes.

What You Bring

- Journeyman-level pipefitting, plumbing, or mechanical construction experience with strong knowledge of piping installation, welding, rigging, and system testing.
- Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate field operations, manage workforce quality, and maintain project schedules and productivity goals.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, code compliance, quality control practices, safety requirements, and mechanical system installations.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to make sound field decisions and mentor developing tradespeople.
