SAIC is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team to assist with application development support to maintain and enhance an existing social media data exploitation platform.
This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing enhancements to an existing service-based web application.
- Work with team members to ensure tools meet defined requirements.
- Ensure application security vulnerabilities are addressed to maintain security accreditation.
- Design, develop and maintain SQL-based databases.
Required:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Experience with Java.
- Experience with Python and Python API.
- Experience using Anaconda/Micro Mamba.
- Experience supporting Linux including Bash scription, Cron Jobs and IT automation.
- Experience with API protocols, including Sockets, GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Android app development with tools such as Kotlin, Dart and Flutter.
- Experience with web technologies including cookies, and web transactions, communication between hosts, developer tools and mobile compatibility mode.
Desired:
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining SQL-based databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience developing PL/SQL database scripts, including procedures, functions, exception handlers, and triggers.
- Experience writing and tuning complex queries against structured and unstructured data sets.
- Experience maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
- Experience with big data processing and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MapReduce, and HBase.
- Experience with Apache NiFi.
- Experience with the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
