Your Role

- Execute and oversee accounting and financial activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, applicable accounting principles, and current regulations in Chile.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings, ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and on time.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, provisions, and intercompany accounts.
- Analyze balances, movements, and accounting variations, identifying inconsistencies and proposing the corresponding corrective actions.
- Prepare journal entries, reclassifications, provisions, and adjustments, making sure they have the necessary supporting documents and approvals.
- Support the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, management reports, and information packages for local, regional, and global teams.
- Prepare financial reports for the headquarters in Germany, ensuring compliance with the defined formats, deadlines, and corporate standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Uruguay team and other regional areas, gathering information, resolving discrepancies, and promoting the proper execution of shared financial processes.
- Perform variance analyses between actual results, budget, forecast, and previous periods, providing explanations and background that support decision-making.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable management, including analyzing overdue balances and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and internal customers.
- Provide support to the Tax area in preparing information and documentation related to tax obligations, tax audits, and income tax.
- Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests, working directly with the auditing firm and providing documentation, analysis, and evidence.
- Prepare financial information, notices, and reports related to bidding processes and requirements from the Prosecutor's Office or other control areas.
- Support compliance with internal controls, segregation of duties, approval levels, and the maintenance of financial documentation.
- Participate in initiatives for improvement, standardization, automation, and digitization of accounting and financial processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reduce manual activities, and increase the efficiency of the processes under your responsibility.
- Keep procedures, control matrices, backups, and workflows related to your functions up to date.

Your Profile

- Qualified professionals in Accounting, Commercial Engineering, Management Control, or degrees related to the financial and accounting area.
- Between 2 and 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, management control, corporate treasury, financial reporting, or auditing firms.
- Experience participating in monthly, quarterly, or annual accounting closings and in the preparation or review of balance sheets and financial statements.
- Experience in internal or external audits, handling requests, preparing supporting documents, and explaining processes or account balances.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and ability to explain variations between actual results, budget, forecast, and previous periods.
- Experience preparing financial reports for corporate, regional, or international headquarters teams.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Chilean tax regulations, income tax, IFRS, and applicable accounting standards.
- Handling reconciliations, provisions, reclassifications, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventories, and intercompany accounts.
- Experience working with ERP systems. Experience with SAP FI will be especially valued.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze databases, cross-check information, and prepare financial reports.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization and automation tools will be considered desirable.
- Intermediate spoken and written English, sufficient to prepare reports and interact with regional, global teams, and the headquarters in Germany.
- Strongly analytical profile, capable of detecting inconsistencies, understanding their causes, and proposing corrective actions.
- Detail-oriented and precise when working with sensitive financial information, ensuring its integrity, traceability, and timely delivery
- Ability to organize multiple requirements and deadlines simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Proactive approach to anticipate deviations, follow up on commitments, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Skill in working collaboratively with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Management Control, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Legal, audits, and regional teams.
- Effective communication to present financial information and explain results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to operate in multicultural environments and coordinate with teams from other countries, especially Germany and Uruguay.
- Focused on continuous improvement, digitization, and automation of financial and accounting processes.
