he Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Cook to join our Residential Services team. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to prepare nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Schedule
- Part-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Approximately 30 hours per week
Pay
$16.00 - $18.40 per hour , based on experience
What You'll Do
- Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and individual program requirements
- Adapt food preparation methods to meet individual needs (chopped, pureed, liquid diets, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Keep food, groceries, and household supplies stocked
- Complete grocery shopping as needed
- Monitor and maintain adaptive feeding equipment
- Maintain food substitution documentation
- Follow household grocery budgets
- Report safety concerns promptly
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
Required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred
- Previous cooking or food service experience
