## Position Summary
Oversees the Center for Faculty Advancement's financial management, analysis, and operations. Manages the departmental budget, ensuring fiscal integrity through meticulous reporting, data analysis, and adherence to University policies. In addition to financial stewardship, the incumbent oversees departmental operations and supervises staff to ensure a streamlined, compliant workplace.
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years progressive administrative experience with responsibilities in accounting, budget administration, and financial reporting. Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and/or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of project-level academic financial and more general solid accounting practices. Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Suite; financial systems, website management. Ability to develop forecasts, report results, analyze variances, develop improvements.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of NYU finance and accounting systems and policies. Demonstrated knowledge and use of spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets) and fundamental understanding of balancing budgets; reconciling discrepancies. Knowledge of software platforms: iBuy, Concur, UDW+, CAYUSE.
## Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
