InVue is seeking a Contracts and Legal Operations Manager to support the Legal function across commercial contracts, legal operations, compliance, outside counsel coordination, litigation support, legal intake and project tracking, and legal technology initiatives. Reporting to the VP, Legal, this full-time role will be based at InVue’s Charlotte, NC headquarters and will work in office at least three days per week, or more as determined in collaboration with the VP, Legal. The ideal candidate is highly organized, business-minded, process-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. This role will manage a broad contract portfolio, help maintain and expand InVue’s contract management system, triage legal intake, track legal project dockets, support outside counsel relationships for IP portfolio management, M&A, acquisition integration, litigation, and other legal matters, and help evaluate and implement tools that improve legal department efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, customer agreements, amendments, order forms, terms and conditions, and related documents
- Lead day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of InVue’s contract management system, currently FileVine, including intake, matter setup, workflows, templates, permissions, reporting, data quality, and user adoption
- Maintain, improve, and scale contract lifecycle management processes, including intake, review, approval, execution, storage, renewal tracking, obligation management, and reporting
- Coordinate contract execution and ensure completed agreements are accurately organized, docketed, and accessible to appropriate internal stakeholders
- Prepare contract reports, dashboards, summaries, and status updates; provide guidance to stakeholders on contract requirements, process expectations, and system usage
- Help triage legal intake, assess urgency and business impact, route requests appropriately, track legal project dockets, and help prioritize stakeholder needs in collaboration with the VP, Legal
- Support evaluation, selection, implementation, and adoption of legal operations and legal efficiency tools, including facilitating vendor demos, gathering requirements, coordinating stakeholder feedback, assisting with implementation planning, and supporting onboarding and change management
- Partner with the VP, Legal to identify opportunities to improve Legal department workflows, automate repeatable processes, enhance matter management, and strengthen cross-functional service delivery
- Serve as a liaison with outside counsel and other external legal service providers for IP portfolio management, M&A activity, acquisition integration, and other matters requiring external legal support, including coordinating information flow, timelines, budgets, status updates, and internal stakeholder follow-up
- Provide litigation support, including coordinating with outside counsel, assisting with litigation holds and document collection, tracking key deadlines, organizing matter materials, and supporting internal information gathering and status updates
- Support compliance-related activities, including customer requests, ESG initiatives, internal policies, and applicable legal obligations
- Assist in development, maintain, and improve compliance policies, contract playbooks, form templates, standard terms and conditions, and other Legal department resources
- Assist with corporate governance, legal research, regulatory inquiries, acquisition integration activities, and other matters handled by the Legal function
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the VP, Legal

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, contracts function, legal operations role, or similar environment
- Strong experience reviewing, managing, and improving commercial contract processes and contract lifecycle management workflows
- Experience administering or materially supporting a contract management system, legal matter management platform, or similar legal technology tools
- Ability to translate legal and business needs into practical workflows, system requirements, templates, reports, and process improvements
- Experience coordinating with outside counsel or external advisors on intellectual property, M&A, acquisition integration, corporate, compliance, or other legal matters preferred
- Experience supporting legal intake, matter tracking, project prioritization, litigation support, or legal department operations preferred
- Excellent organizational, project management, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and confidential matters with sound judgment and strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, self-directed, proactive, and continuous-improvement oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a growing Legal function
- Full-time position based at InVue’s Charlotte, NC headquarters; working in office at least three days per week, or more as needed/determined in collaboration with the VP, Legal
