Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a Construction Manager (QA/QC – Water Treatment)  located in Santa Cruz, California. In this critical role, you will oversee and manage water treatment construction projects, ensuring they meet all quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Under general direction, technically manages quality projects or major phases of significant quality projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned project.
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge to the completion of significant quality assignments.
- Provides leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned program(s) and/or areas to ensure that the project is designed, procured and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.
- Provides leadership for new systems, development, proposals, implementation, procedures and any related quality activity.
- Analyzes, evaluates and plans methods of approach, as well as organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.
- Reviews project process and evaluates results.
- Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
- Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.
- Conducts investigations and tests that are of considerable complexity.
- Provides technical consultation to lower level engineers, technicians and inspectors.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education 
- Valid driver's license that allows you to drive during the course of your employment

Preferred Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in construction related QA/QC on Water/Wastewater projects
