You are an experienced manufacturing operations planning and CM management professional with a passion for operational excellence and a proven track record of collaborating with global contract manufacturing partners. What You’ll Be Doing:

- Support Global Business Planning and Master Scheduling, carrying out the business plans that align with our growth strategies
- Developing, tracking and executing the production build plan forecasts with our global Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners
- Managing CM production readiness, ensuring alignment with production forecasts deadlines.
- Managing Clear to Build (CTB) reports with the factory as planned by way of the monthly S&OP forecast release cycles
- Manage consigned component material at the CM, looking forward toward full turnkey solutions.
- Monitor production capacity requirements to meet the S&OP build plan forecasts
- Establish and track operational KPIs and metrics to measure CM performance
- Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing challenges, ensuring operational efficiencies
- Liaison with Synopsys global inventory to facilitate hardware material movement between the CM and our third-party logistics (3PL) partners
- Collaborating closely with NPI Program Management to facilitate new product sku deployments along with phasing out legacy product families
- Collaborate with Operations Quality Engineering to support processes and procedures surrounding CARs, SCARs, and Quality Alerts with the CM’s
- Ensure Continuity of Supply with respect to components and finished goods inventory.
- Must be able to manage small projects related to manufacturing and manufacturing improvements.

What You’ll Need:

- More than 10 years of experience in global manufacturing operations planning and execution, or a similar role in the semiconductor or high-tech industry
- BA/BS covering Business Management, Manufacturing Operations, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in managing global manufacturing operations, inventory, NPI project schedules, RMA repair scheduling and document control change management protocols.
- Can build, create and publish documented processes and procedures centered around our global manufacturing planning and execution strategies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with a track record of managing changing priorities
- Ability to make clear and focused decisions and implement solutions when timing is critical.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with NPI Program Management, global inventory, quality, procurement and operations engineering functions
- Background in managing small projects that include new product deployments

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:

You will join the Global Manufacturing Operations team at Synopsys, a highly collaborative and results-driven group dedicated to supporting the entire lifecycle of our hardware products. The team’s core purpose is to ensure seamless manufacturing and materials planning, operational readiness, and superior quality in partnership with our global contract manufacturers. We work closely with NPI Program Management, Operations & Quality Engineering, and our commodity management / supply chain teams. You will contribute to the tactical and strategic success of the Synopsys’ manufacturing operations team, playing a crucial role in advancing our industry-leading solutions.
