We’re looking for a Jr. Provisioning Technician who is curious, detail-oriented, and ready to build their technical skills while working with the technology behind EyeQ’s remote video surveillance and business intelligence solutions.

EyeQ Monitoring provides remote video surveillance and business intelligence solutions to customers across the U.S. Our Provisioning team plays an important role in making that possible by configuring the systems and technology our teams and customers rely on every day.

As a Jr. Provisioning Technician, you’ll get hands-on experience configuring cameras, video management systems, monitoring platforms, network equipment, wireless bridges, analytics systems, and servers. You’ll also troubleshoot equipment and help make sure systems are properly configured before they’re put to work in the field. If you enjoy learning new technology and solving technical problems, this is a great opportunity to build experience across several areas of security technology and networking.

This position is required to be in-office in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

- Configure and work with a variety of IP, LPR, thermal, and other camera systems
- Configure EyeQ Cloud VMS, Milestone, and Geovision video management platforms
- Work with the Immix monitoring platform and PRTG network health management system
- Configure LiveView Technologies, including SightLogix Thermal and Axis Defender cameras
- Install and configure wireless bridges, including Ubiquiti equipment
- Configure network switches and remote-access tools
- Work with Innovi, VCA, and other analytics appliances
- Configure servers for VMA and analytics systems
- Build and configure NEMA boxes
- Perform basic troubleshooting across required devices and systems
- Use ConnectWise for ticketing and documentation
- Support technologies and cameras associated with Service Drive Concierge

Required Qualities & Skillset

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of basic networking fundamentals
- Experience working with Windows operating systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Detail-oriented and able to stay focused
- Coachable and able to follow direction
- Willing to take on the tasks necessary to successfully complete a project
- Strong communication skills when working virtually, over the phone, or in person
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to commute to the Atlanta area for this in-office position
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills, Certifications & Experience

- Postsecondary education or certification in a related technical field
- Experience installing or configuring remote security equipment
- Experience with video management systems such as Milestone or Genetec
- Experience with IP camera systems
- Experience with point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless systems
- Experience with firewall, router, or VPN management, including SonicWall
