Job Description

Microsoft Power Platform Architect & Lead Developer responsible for designing, governing, and delivering secure, scalable enterprise applications, automation, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions across Power Platform and Azure. The role combines architecture leadership, hands-on development, agile pod leadership, mentoring, and technical accountability from discovery through production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead discovery and architecture workshops; translate business, functional, non-functional, security, data, integration, and operational requirements into target-state architectures and delivery roadmaps.
Architect and, where required, build solutions using Power Apps Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Automate, Custom Connectors, AI Builder, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft AI Foundry.
Design enterprise extensions including PCF controls using TypeScript/React, Dataverse plug-ins using C#/.NET, Azure Functions, REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven or API-led integration patterns.
Load and transform data into Dataverse and/or Azure Data Lake using Azure Data Factory and Power Platform Dataflows.
Define environment strategies, integration architecture, identity and access controls, resiliency, performance, scalability, observability, and supportability standards.
Lead agile delivery pods of Power Platform developers and integration engineers.
Establish coding standards and ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated checks, unit testing, solution validation, and technical debt management.
Define and enforce Power Platform governance, including tenant and environment strategy, DLP policies, connector controls, security roles, managed environments, capacity, licensing considerations, ALM, release controls, and Center of Excellence practices.
Establish CI/CD and ALM using Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, PAC CLI, Power Platform Pipelines.
Provide architecture oversight for SIT, UAT, performance and security testing, cutover, production readiness, hyper care, and operational transition; troubleshoot complex platform and integration issues.
Conduct executive presentations, demos, and technical workshops; collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, security, infrastructure, data, operations, and Microsoft teams.

Required Qualifications
12+ years in IT/software engineering, including 4+ years hands-on with Microsoft Power Platform.
Proven delivery of enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions.
Strong hands-on skills in C#/.NET/Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, REST APIs, PCF, plug-ins, and Azure services.
Deep knowledge of Power Platform architecture, governance, security, licensing, capacity, performance, ALM, and support models.
Proven ability to lead agile pods, mentor developers, review designs/code, enforce standards, and improve delivery quality.
Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, PAC CLI, Power Platform Pipelines, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and release management.
Experience designing agents and multi-step automation with Copilot Studio and/or Microsoft AI Foundry is a plus.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, and adaptability to emerging approaches like Power Apps Code Apps.
Strong consulting, analytical, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills across all audience levels.
Architecture-level Microsoft certification in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, and/or Microsoft AI, plus relevant developer/functional certifications."

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $130000- $140000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
