Job Title : Senior Commercial Manager
Responsible for the development and management of commercial aspects of large EPC Projects with a primary focus on managing Commercial Terms & Conditions and Risks associated with contracting while protecting, optimizing profitability of projects and the Zachry Enterprise. Position manages the development and negotiation with clients in conjunction with the Legal Department, Proposal Group, and Business Development.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of relevant EPC project experience (or equivalent)
- Minimum of Bachelor of engineering, construction management, or other technical degree required.
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills while working in an international, multi-cultural team environment.
- Knowledge of document management, scheduling, advanced work packaging (AWP) and cost management techniques for major EPC projects needed.
- Contract management, change management and administration experience.
- Proven negotiation skills a must.
- Proven experience with early impact identification and calculation techniques for major EPC projects and negotiating the inclusion of provisions to protect Zachry during the contract negotiation phase.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Required: Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Finance or other Technical/Analytical degree required.
Preferred: Advanced Business Management or Law degree.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be in a conservative corporate office environment operating and functioning at a fast pace. Working out of cubicles near other various colleagues who are also in cubes. Some may refer to these workspaces as cube farms. Our corporate campus includes an on-site café with various daily breakfast, lunch and snack-time selections, a sizeable fitness center equipped with various state of the art work out equipment & weights, outdoor walking/jogging-path, herb garden, basketball half-court, sand-volley ball court, soccer field. Office noise will be low and generally consist of cube neighbors’ phone-calls, conversations and/or laughter. You can expect people to treat you with friendliness and respect throughout the Zachry campus.
