About this role

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for one or more part-time (below 0.5 FTE), faculty wage (non-tenure eligible) faculty positions in the Marketing Area for Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters.

The faculty member will teach 1.5–5.5 credit hours per semester, primarily undergraduate courses in Business Statistics and Quantitative Analysis, with additional teaching related to Marketing courses as needed based on instructional needs.

Qualifications:

- A master's degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or a closely-related field is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
- Relevant industry or educational experience is required; previous teaching experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills and the desire to work in a dynamic environment that stresses teamwork, innovation, and student-centered learning is required.

Compensation: $3,000-$4,000 per credit hour.
