Role Overview
- Location: Remote
- Reports To: Supervisor, NOC
- Schedule: 7am to 6pm Monday - Friday
- Pay Rate: $ 40,000- 45,000 MXN Monthly
- Employment Type: Full-time
Your Mission as a Network Engineer III
- Lead and participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of network hardware, software, communications links, and routing protocols.
- Plan, design, and develop LANs, WANs, VPNs, and network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network access control.
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve advanced network hardware and software problems.
- Connect, operate, and monitor network systems.
- Partner closely with data center, operations, and technical teams.
- Design, create, and maintain physical and logical network documentation covering VLANs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Improve network and telecommunications options for remote communications.
- Create and optimize internal network and infrastructure processes.
- Assist Level I and Level II engineers with complex connectivity issues.
- Guide or assist other engineers during communications-hardware installations.
- Support major equipment repairs when needed.
- Deliver consistently high customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
What You Bring to the Team
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ten years of experience in a networking field.
- An information technology degree is preferred.
Required Certification
- Cisco Certified Network Professional, CCNP
Preferred Certifications and Knowledge
- Fortinet certifications
- Cisco Meraki certifications
- A+ certification
- OEM equipment certifications
- Familiarity with ASTEA
