Role Overview
- Location: Remote
- Reports To: Supervisor, NOC
- Schedule: 12am to 8am Monday - Friday
- Pay Rate: $22,000-27,000 MXN with Shift Differential Monthly
- Employment Type: Full-time
Your Mission as a Systems Administrator I
- Manage user access and permissions across client workgroups and domains.
- Maintain working knowledge of client hardware, operating systems, and technology environments.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues that affect system efficiency.
- Install server software, apply security patches, update applications, and remove software that is no longer needed.
- Perform system backups and standard preventative maintenance.
- Resolve user connectivity issues and escalate more complex incidents when appropriate.
- Support users by explaining equipment and technology clearly.
- Assist with communications hardware installations, minor equipment repairs, and more advanced assignments as part of your development.
- Document your work, follow established procedures, and contribute to a consistently positive client experience.
- Build strong relationships with customers, teammates, and leadership.
What You Bring to the Team
Education and Experience
- Associate degree required.
- Two years of experience in a networking or related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology is preferred.
Preferred Certifications and Knowledge
- A+ certification
- OEM equipment certifications
- Microsoft certifications
- Familiarity with ASTEA
