Walk In Clinic Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Nurse Practitioner, you will help patients manage their acute and chronic health needs under the supervision of a physician so they can achieve improved health outcomes and maintain positive lifestyle habits.

Every day you will manage patient care, including performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications according to established protocols. You will be expected to provide ongoing patient support by answering messages, refilling prescriptions, triaging consults, and conducting follow-up calls to track progress.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong clinical background in primary care, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to maintaining professional standards of patient privacy and confidentiality.

Job Requirements

Required:

- Masters Of Science in Nursing

- One (1) year of experience

- Clear and current CA NP license

- Maintain a work pace appropriate to given work-load.

- Make independent decisions or exercise judgment based on appropriate information.

- Accept and carry out responsibility for direction, control and planning.

- Perform complex and varied tasks.

Preferred:

- Basic Life Support - CPR (AHA BLS)

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
