Job Summary :

Are you an experienced Class B CDL Driver looking for a steady local position where you can get home everyday?

Our Atlanta Healthcare Laundry facility is looking for a dependable, safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our transportation team. You’ll play an important role delivering clean linen products to healthcare customers and bringing soiled linen safely back to our facility.

The successful candidate

As a CDL Class B Driver, you'll be responsible for:

- Collecting finished carts from the load-building area
- Moving carts to the back dock and loading the appropriate delivery truck
- Delivering clean linen products to customers
- Transporting soiled linen back to the plant
- Following all DOT, federal, state, and local transportation requirements
- Following OSHA requirements related to bloodborne pathogens
- Coordinating daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team Leaders
- Communicating effectively with customers and the operations team
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and proper disinfection procedures after transporting soiled linen
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
- Assisting with other transportation and facility duties as needed

Job Requirements :

- Valid Class B CDL — REQUIRED
- Clean MVR
- Previous professional driving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Good organizational and analytical abilities
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new applications
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a team
- Dependable, safety-minded attitude
- Ability to meet all DOT and company requirements .
