About this role
BMG is hiring a senior seller who has run enterprise media operations from the inside and can sell the model that replaces what they used to build by hand.
Title: Director, Enterprise Managed Services Sales (Senior Director for the right candidate)
Reports To: EVP, Growth & Marketing
Location: Toronto, Canada
Travel: Roughly 30–40% to client sites, BMG facilities, and industry events
Type: Full-time; base plus uncapped commission
About BMG
Broadcast Management Group (BMG) designs, builds, and operates media infrastructure for organizations whose content cannot fail. Our model is one connected production ecosystem: Create it. Engineer it. Operate it.
We run cloud-based production through our Cloud Control Center™, REMI (remote integration) workflows, a 24/7 network operations center, embedded production staffing, system integration, and OTT channel services. Clients include Amazon, Meta, Verizon, Blue Origin, UBS, Charles Schwab Network, CNN, Netflix, and the U.S. Department of State.
The Opportunity
Enterprise media organizations are BMG’s largest whitespace. Telecom, financial services, technology, and consumer brands now run studios, internal networks, executive communications, and live events at broadcast scale, usually with in-house teams stretched thin.
This role sells them a better operating model: BMG consults, designs and builds the facility, staffs it, and runs it through our NOC on a recurring managed services agreement.
We want someone who has sat in the buyer’s chair, managed those teams and budgets, and knows exactly where in-house media operations break.
What You’ll Do
• Build a new-logo pipeline of Fortune 1000 enterprises with in-house media, studio, or live event operations, prioritizing multi-year managed services agreements over one-off projects.
• Sell to the full buying group: communications and marketing executives, heads of media production, IT and network leaders, procurement, and finance.
• Lead with operational diagnosis: assess a prospect’s current production model — staffing, facilities, workflows, uptime risk, and cost — and shape a BMG solution around the problems they name.
• Package the full lifecycle: consulting, facility design and build, embedded staffing, Cloud Control Center™ and REMI production, and 24/7 NOC operations, with engineering and operations partners at BMG.
• Own proposals and RFP responses for managed services, including scope, staffing models, SLAs, and commercial structure.
• Expand existing enterprise accounts from single events or projects into recurring operations.
• Represent BMG at industry events and executive forums, and feed market insight back into positioning and offerings.
• Run a disciplined forecast in HubSpot with accurate stages, close dates, and next steps.
What You Bring
• 10+ years in media production and operations, in enterprise or live broadcast news.
• 5+ years leading media production or media operations at the director level or above.
• Direct experience managing large production teams, vendors, budgets, and multi-site facilities — you have bought and managed services like BMG’s.
• Fluency across broadcast and digital: live production, studio operations, content workflows, cloud and remote production, and distribution to TV, streaming, and social.
• A record of transforming production workflows and operating models, with measurable gains in cost, speed, or reliability.
• Executive presence with C-suite communications, marketing, and technology leaders, plus a strong network across enterprise media and broadcast.
• A consultative style: you diagnose before you pitch and can translate technical architecture into business outcomes.
• Comfort carrying a quota and building pipeline from a target account list.
Nice to Have
• Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or other enterprises running internal networks, brand studios, or executive communications at scale.
• Prior sales, business development, or client-facing agency experience.
• Background in creative content strategy and corporate communications, not just technical operations.
• Familiarity with managed services commercial models: SLAs, staffing-as-a-service, and multi-year MSAs.
• Existing relationships in the Toronto and overall Canadian enterprise media communities.
