Overview

Are you a hands-on Workday professional who knows the platform beyond the basics and enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of the work?

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a Workday Product Analyst to join our Strategic Operations team. We’re looking for someone with strong functional and technical Workday experience, particularly across HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Reporting, who can step in and contribute quickly in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.

This is a hands-on role. On any given day, you may be resolving Workday tickets, troubleshooting a business process, building or modifying a report, loading an EIB, supporting a compliance or document management need, or working through a project sprint. Our team operates in approximately six-week project sprints, giving you the opportunity to balance day-to-day Workday support with larger system enhancements and business initiatives.

Our preference is for this position to be based on-site at Davidson Hospitality Group’s corporate office in Dunwoody, GA, allowing for close collaboration with our Strategic Operations and corporate teams. However, we are open to considering a remote work arrangement for a highly qualified candidate with the right depth of Workday experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has developed strong Workday expertise and is ready for greater product ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to help shape how Workday supports a growing, multi-state hospitality organization.

Responsibilities

- Serve as a hands-on Workday subject matter expert with primary emphasis on HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Reporting.

- Manage, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve Workday support tickets, including system issues, transaction questions, data discrepancies, workflow challenges, and business process needs.

- Execute Workday configuration updates, condition rules, and business process modifications within assigned product areas.

- Build, maintain, and schedule Workday custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to support corporate and property-level stakeholders.

- Prepare, load, validate, and troubleshoot Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) for mass data updates and other system needs.

- Support Workday document management processes and system requirements related to organizational and regulatory compliance.

- Participate in approximately six-week project sprints, partnering with Workday Product Managers and Strategic Operations leadership on requirements gathering, user stories, testing, enhancements, and implementation.

- Monitor product health, system adoption, and data trends and recommend configuration or process improvements.

- Lead validation, regression testing, and deployment activities associated with Workday’s semi-annual releases and other system enhancements.

- Provide advanced Tier 2 troubleshooting for complex defects, data discrepancies, workflow bottlenecks, and other Workday-related issues.

- Maintain accurate technical documentation of configurations, business requirements, testing, system changes, and processes.

- Collaborate with technology vendors, third-party administrators, internal Centers of Excellence, and business partners to maintain stable integrations and resolve data transmission issues.

- Assist with user-facing training materials and change-management communications supporting Workday enhancements, new functionality, and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

- 1–3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, with a demonstrated ability to support organizational initiatives and system enhancements.

- 3–5 years of hands-on operational Workday experience managing, auditing, troubleshooting, and supporting Workday transactions.

- Strong hands-on knowledge and experience with Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Reporting. Experience across these areas is highly important for success in this role.

- Strong Workday reporting experience, including custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and translating business needs into meaningful reporting solutions.

- Experience preparing, loading, validating, and troubleshooting Workday EIBs.

- Experience supporting document management and compliance-related processes within Workday.

- Demonstrated knowledge of Workday business processes, security groups, calculated fields, and configuration concepts.

- Experience managing and resolving Workday support tickets and effectively balancing day-to-day production support with project-based work.

- Familiarity with structured project environments and Agile methodologies, including sprint cycles, requirements gathering, testing, and user stories, is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with corporate leaders, system architects, vendors, and property-level teams.
