About this position

The Manager, Accounting & Controllership, WHQ Controller is a key member of the Corporate Accounting team with primary ownership of Global Mobility accounting and selected WHQ controllership activities. The role leads the end-to-end accounting process for a dedicated mobility company with its own profit and loss statement and balance sheet in the SAP source system. The position combines operational controllership, technical accounting judgment, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder support, and a strong controls mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Mobility Accounting: Manage assignment setup, master data, journal entries, accruals, allocations, intercompany billing, settlements, reconciliations, and period-end reporting.

- Cost Allocation & Tax Coordination: Interpret mobility costs across entities and tax jurisdictions; execute tax equalization, hypothetical/imputed tax, withholdings, reimbursements, and true-ups.

- Financial Analysis & Controls: Prepare monthly/quarterly variance and flux analyses; maintain internal controls, SOX documentation, audit-ready records, and employee data privacy.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Projects: Partner with internal teams to resolve inquiries, drive process automation/standardization, and support ad-hoc Corporate Controller initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

- 5+ years of experience in accounting.

- 3+ years of applying US GAAP in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.

- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification

- Experience with SAP, or other ERP

- Controls-focused mindset with experience supporting SOX compliance, internal controls, external audit requests, and process documentation.

- Experience with Global Mobility, expatriate or inpat accounting, payroll accounting, employee tax matters, tax equalization, transfer pricing, or intercompany allocations and billing.

Additional information

- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction; visa sponsorship is not available.

- The role may require flexibility in meeting times to support stakeholders across global time zones

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
