What This Role Is Really About

This position combines patient services, clinical support, cardiac monitoring technology, and department coordination.

A significant part of your day will be spent working directly with patients, educating them on their monitors, coordinating devices, managing equipment, completing documentation, and supporting the overall cardiac monitoring workflow.

The role requires a strong foundation in ECG recognition, cardiac monitoring, and rhythm fundamentals, along with the ability to develop and maintain the knowledge required for CRAT certification within two years of employment. While these technical skills are an important part of the Monitor Technician role, the primary day-to-day focus of this position is patient and device support rather than continuous telemetry monitoring or independent cardiac rhythm analysis.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys the combination of patient interaction, hands-on technology, organization, clinical support, and cardiology.
