Job Description:

At Regions, the Loan Fulfillment Construction Lending Risk Manager oversees a team of supervisors and managers performing a variety of aspects associated with the Construction Lending process including analyzing risk associated with borrowers, residential home builder and contract submittals as part of applications and closing, and the administration of construction permanent loans.

Primary Responsibilities

- Provides leadership to a team of supervisors/managers that oversee associates responsible for evaluating risk on loan requests for construction permanent loan applications by reviewing builders, contracts, cost/budget, appraisals, complexity of home designs/specifications, surveys, and internal program guidelines
- Oversees the resolution of loans past due on interest, loans past maturity, loans encumbered by liens or lawsuits, builder/borrower disputes, and other problem loans
- Works with borrowers, builders, title agents, and attorneys within the compliance framework to attain outcomes most favorable for the bank
- Determines guidelines for project reviews in compliance with state statutes and administration consistent with Regions' Construction Permanent (CP) loan agreement
- Directs departmental operations, analytics, and reporting
- Addresses problem loans and provides appropriate solutions
- Manages a team by working with other departments to convert loans within a timely manner
- Oversees appropriate departmental staffing as dictated by business cycles and technology

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of experience in banking or a related field
- Or High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of experience in banking or a related field
- Three (3) year of supervisory/management experience

Preferences

- Bachelor's degree

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:
$104,271.20 USD
Median:
$150,790.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
