Job Description:

At Regions, the Asset Management Portfolio Management Area Manager coaches, mentors, and trains the sales, service, and portfolio management teams. This position is also responsible for assigned area sales goal, revenue retention goals, and risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

- Directs a significant portion of the individual and/or trust account business’ investment activities, including direct management
- Handles large, complex, and profitable High Net Worth and/or trust account assets and investment relationships
- Participates in setting policies and procedures, including risk management oversight
- Attends asset allocation and investment strategy meetings to determine portfolio investment structure
- Leads associate engagement planning and implementation, and plans continuing education
- Owns the implementation of wealth planning and develops strategic initiatives
- Participates in speaking engagements for large client and prospect groups

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Ten (10) years of investment experience

Preferences

- Master's degree
- Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification

Skills and Competencies

- Ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally
- Effective leadership and management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of expertise in trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accounts
- Proven and effective sales techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills

- Provide leadership and oversight for institutional investment strategy and portfolio construction.
- Lead complex client engagements involving investment policy development, asset allocation reviews, spending policy analysis, manager due diligence, and fiduciary oversight.
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of institutional portfolio managers and investment consultants.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on client service excellence, accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives with institutional leadership that support the growth and profitability of the Institutional Asset Management business.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, fiduciary standards, and internal risk management policies. Maintain strong governance practices across all client relationships and investment processes

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$194,788.55 USD
Median:
$267,610.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
