Position Summary
At Crazy Shirts, we create original, memorable artwork on quality products that bring an endless vacation to everyday life. As a Sales Associate, you help bring that experience to our customers through friendly service, product recommendations, and a welcoming store environment.

You will build customer relationships, support your team, and help maintain the store appearance and service standards that represent Crazy Shirts and other OTB operations.
Essential Job Functions
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Create a welcoming customer experience. Greet customers, learn about their needs, and provide attentive service that meets company customer service and sales standards.
- Help customers find products they love. Use Crazy Shirts sales techniques to make recommendations, build relationships, and encourage return visits.
- Work toward sales goals. Contribute to individual and store goals while participating in friendly competition and supporting team success.
- Keep the store looking its best. Restock merchandise, maintain displays and visual standards, and keep selling and work areas clean and organized.
- Support daily store operations. Complete opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, opening and closing registers, preparing bank deposits, and securing cash.
- Protect store assets. Follow cash-handling, security, and loss-prevention procedures to safeguard merchandise, funds, and company property.
- Follow company policies and procedures. Apply company standards consistently in customer interactions and daily work.
- Pitch in where needed. Perform additional duties assigned by the manager or supervisor to support the store and team.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience is helpful; a friendly attitude and an interest in helping customers are valued.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication, to support sales transactions and cash handling.
- Successful completion of the company’s background screening process.
Physical and Environmental Job Requirements
The responsibilities of this position include the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Stand and move throughout the store while assisting customers and completing daily tasks.
- Read and review merchandise tickets, shipment invoices, UPC codes, and reports.
- Work independently, including working alone in the store.
- Perform job duties in an environment with varying noise levels.
- Follow the company’s Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, and Response guidelines and workplace safety procedures, including wearing masks when required and using cleaning and disinfecting supplies.
