Senior Financial Wellness Benefits Manager

The Senior Financial Wellness Benefits Manager role manages 401(k) funding and critical processes for U.S. and international retirement plans, including Highly Compensated Employee determinations, discrimination testing, match true-ups, nonqualified plan administration, participant education, and financial wellness initiatives in a fast paced, highly analytical, and dynamic environment. They provide oversight of plans with our vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance with ERISA laws and the Internal Revenue Code 409A regulations. They help to create and deliver educational resources and tools that empower associates to make informed financial decisions. This role supports the Financial Wellness Director as needed related to strategic focus for Total Rewards.

Responsibilities:

- Manage 401(k) Plan funding & critical processes for all retirement plans (U.S. & International)
- Oversee and facilitate determination for annual Highly Compensated Employee list, Discrimination Testing, and annual Match True-Up for the 401(k) Plan
- Manage Nonqualified Plans administration, enrollments, distributions, newly eligible initiatives, and annual processes
- Manage all vendor files (incoming and outgoing); work with HR technology regarding any changes and/or enhancements
- Manage 401(k) participant education initiatives throughout the year to enhance the offerings in the 401(k) Plan
- Take proactive role in the management of the retirement vendor’s Financial Wellness program
- Manage relocation benefits and tuition assistance benefits
- Manage vendor relationships as assigned
- Manage international financial wellness benefit plans; work with Payroll Department on international country specific retirement plans
- Manage Financial Wellness communications throughout the year
- Manage WorkDay initiatives and administration related to Financial Wellness plans during the year and for annual open enrollment
- Supervise Benefits Analyst(s)
- Assist with acquisition implementation as needed and project work as assigned
- Assist with reporting and/or analytics

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive retirement benefits experience, including hands-on experience with 401(k) plan administration and retirement plan operations.
- Knowledge of ERISA and other federal regulations governing qualified retirement plans, with the ability to support compliant plan administration and processes.
- Working knowledge of Internal Revenue Code Section 409A
- Demonstrated experience with nonqualified retirement plan administration
- Experience managing complex retirement plan activities such as Highly Compensated Employee (HCE) determinations, nondiscrimination testing, plan funding, and employer match true-ups.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience analyzing, reconciling, and validating benefits and retirement plan data.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex retirement and financial wellness concepts effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certificate in Retirement Plans, or Retirement Plans Associate
- WorkDay experience
